I really enjoyed the article. I found it presented some cool ideas and takes on how we receive visual messages.

I specifically like the second section, where it talks about the recognition of this visual phenomenon. Some people are tuned out to how prevalent visual messaging is in today world, while others are completely conscious and aware of the impacts of it. What I like though is that the article says that just being aware of it doesn't necessarily mean you can comprehend it, and the danger remains as most people just continue to live through it.

The points that the article makes about children and their relation to the whole thing, is also fascinating. If anything, children and the young people of this world are the most effected by it. They've grown up in a world surrounded by blasting visual information everywhere. It's the norm for them. This generation of kids have spent more time in front of screens, TVs, Ipads, etc. than any other generation is history. We are beginning to see the effect of this as these kids get older. It's so easy to just view whatever you want, whenever you want to, and bypass so much of what's happening in the real world because of this accessibility.

The author also goes in depth to commentate on how the whole situation is a cursed blessing for society. While it makes things easier to access and understand, children specifically are not developing the necessary skills needed to think critically about what their viewing.
